The latest version of Neo’s SafeKeys is Neo’s SafeKeys 2008 v2.3. It is a recommended download for all users.
Version 2.3.2. 30th October 2009.
- [Fix] Fixed error that was raised by Maxthon browser’s improper dealing with drag/drop.

- [New Feature] Added better protection from screenloggers.

Version 2.2.1. Released 23rd December 2008.
- [New type of install] Created an ‘install’ version of Neo’s SafeKeys, where it can be installed with a Setup program.
- [Improvement] Improved the security of the ‘hide password in amongst random characters’.
Version 2.1.1. Released 26th November 2008.
- [Fix] Fixed drag-drop selection issues; selection is smoother and more reliable.
- [Fix] Fixed bug where Neo’s SafeKeys would error on show/hide of the toolbar.
- [Fix] Re-enabled password selection by double-clicking.
Version 2.1.0. Released 21st November 2008.
- [Security Improvement] Extended on security improvements from 2.0.4. ‘Personal Inspector’ will now only pick up “****” from all password entries.
- [Fix] Fixed some minor usability bugs from 2.0.4 (eg ‘clear’ button didn’t work).
Version 2.0.4 BETA. Released 20th November 2008.
- [Improvement] Matt, a Neo’s SafeKeys user, informed us that keylogger ‘Personal Inspector’ was able to defeat Neo’s SafeKeys 2008. This beta version was a proof of concept to stop PI from logging Neo’s SafeKeys entries. Matt replied that this beta version was successful. Version 2.0.2. Released 11th November 2008.
- [Change] Improved the “Hide password in amongst random characters” feature:
- If the text is selected, the random characters do not replace the selected text.
- Random keystrokes now only come from the standard keyboard, not the number pad.
- [Fix] Spaces now remain when “Hide password in amongst random characters” feature is used.
